Apple Computers

Apple
PCs have long-since been the standard for people doing heavy graphic design and
commercial advertising work - among other things. IBM machines (I used to work
for IBM as a Tech) have always been the standard for business because of their
reputation for customer service. The gap is narrowing, and there is no doubt
that Apple Machines are superior in many ways to IBM-compatible machines - for
ONE thing, they are IMMUNE from the millions of Web-based viruses and Trojan
programs floating around. The new Mac-OS will also run most Windows programs,
and so the consideration that there is much more software available for IBM than
Mac, is no longer a valid comparison. I personally like the new Apple machines -
and I am getting one myself. Apple Computer's iPod series is a huge success, and
an MP3 player is a really neat thing to have. It isn't mentioned in the ads, but
you can use the 30 to 80 Gigabyte models as a backup for your data - so you
really don't need to carry around that 2 Gigabyte FLASH drive anymore, if you
have your iPod with you. - WebPastor Dave.
